I. Origin:
At this stage, an active policy has been launched by Tainan City Government to promote major construction projects in Yongkang District, including Yongkang Technology Park and Yongkang Creative Design Park. With the Yongkang Industrial Zone, Asia-Pacific Industrial Zone and Tainan Science Park being put into operation service until now, it is anticipated that stronger demands for industrial, commercial and residential services will be nurtured and stimulated for this region. Corresponding to the aggregated demands for the transportation and the collateral industries, all transshipment and logistics facilities will be adequately planned for the Consolidation Area in the future. On this basis, it is hoped that the land service efficiency in the perimeter of the Yongkang Interchange could be elevated through a well-organized land development program.
II. Scope:
East: Dongkang Interchange adjacent to Tainan City;
South: Provincial Highway 1 and Zhongzheng North Road;
West: Yongan Road; and
North: Sections acquired around Yanzhong Junior High School.
III. Area: about 14.59 hectares.
IV. Project host: Bureau of Land Administration, Tainan City Government.
V.Project management agency: Land Consolidation Engineering Bureau, Ministry of the Interior.
VI. Project Content:
1.Fence project: There are diamond mesh fences around land parcels with a total length of about 1,528 meters.
2.Land grading work: The elevation of the land grading work is determined according to the elevation up to the top of side ditches around land parcels. In principle, the balanced earthwork will be executed by construction surplus soils exchanged with adjacent public construction sites and applied for the working zone. The area of the land grading work is about 15 hectares.
3.Road and sidewalk work: The site contains 7 roads with a total length of 1,732 meters, and sidewalks with a total length of 2,444 meters.
4.Retaining wall work: The total length of retaining walls is about 302 meters.
5.Drainage work: The total length of side ditches is about 2,933 meters, and the total length of single-hole box culverts is about 861 meters.
6.Sewer system work: The pipe culverts are about 1,358m in total length, and household connection pipes are about 1,692 meters in total length. This work includes 29 manholes and 20 working shafts.
7.Public illumination work: There are 166 streetlights.
8.Common duct work: There are 10 power manholes and 41 light current manholes. The total length of cable ducts is about 4,433 meters and the total length of household connection pipes is about 3,354 meters.
9.Water work: The total length of water pipelines is about 2,556 meters.
10.Landscape work: There are 15 trees transplanted for the landscape and 448 arbors planted. The area for planting grass is about 8,257m2.
