I. Project origin:
The Urban Land Consolidation Project for Pingshiying District of Tainan City in Phase II is located in the essential area of the Eastern District of Tainan City. It is adjacent to the Cheng Kung University’s business circle as it is within the scope of the Ping Shi Military Camp and Jingzhong 3rd Village. The area has the old, narrow and small roadways and is deficient of public facilities. The overall environment is simple and crude and cannot be integrated with the surrounding environment, which indeed hinders the development of the region. Hence, in order to seek the overall development of the East District, the Tainan City Government plans to develop and construct the urban area through the urban consolidation plan for the scope of the Ping Shi Military Camp and Jingzhong 3rd Village, hoping that the consolidation area can develop diversified commercial activities and emerging communities with high-quality living functions.
II. Project scope:
Located in the East District of Tainan City. It is bounded by Xiaodong Road in the north, Section 1 of Zhonghua East Road in the west, Yongkang District of Tainan City in the east, and the residential community in Houjia Village in the south.
III. Area: about 35.4 hectares.
IV. Project host: Bureau of Land Administration, Tainan City Government.
VII. Project management agency: Land Consolidation Engineering Bureau, Ministry of the Interior.
VI. Project Content:
(1) Site preparation projects: 20 hills with an area of about 28.79 hectares.
(2) Road projects: There are 20 roads with a total length of 5,798 meters and a marking line of 4,357 square meters.
(3) Drainage projects: The total length of the side ditch is 10,597 meters, and the total length of the drainage box culvert is 3,836.62 meters, and the number of man holes for the box culvert is 98.
(4) Sewage projects: The total length is 2,612 meters with 114 sewage manholes and 88 inspection wells.
(5) Water supply projects: The total length is 11,734 meters with the exhaust valve in 62 sets.
(6) Common pipeline projects: The total length of the pipeline is 33,386 meters with 30 electric manholes, 158 weak electric manholes and 20 basic bases.
(7) Landscaping projects: The area of high-pressure concrete bricks is 9,899 square meters, with 47 landscaping high-lights, 137 seats, 358 arbor trees, shrubs with an area of 576 square meters, turfs with an area of 2,185 square meters, 2 sets of children's play equipment, and 5 sets of physical fitness facilities.
