I. Project Origination
Wuri Qianzhu Area is situated at the urban planning border of the original Taichung City and Taichung County, where integral land use is not planned and illegal land use is severe; its urban appearance is disordered, and the Hanxi Drain on the southern side has the potential to form a natural hazard. In coordination with the river straightening project, a drainage improvement is of imperative need. In order to integrate and utilize land resources effectively, to build a complete road system, and to balance urban developments, integral planning and development of this project is carried out for creating a new community with complete functionalities for living, administration and leisure activities.
II. Scope: Neighboring with Huanzhong Road on the east, Hanxi Drainage on the southern edge, Liuchuan Drainage on the west and Wuri Industrial Park on the north.
III. Major Construction Items: Developed area is about 68.7 hectare, construction items include land leveling, road, drain, sewage, city water, utility pipeline, public lighting, park plantation, bridges, entrusted TPC 69KV underground power cable, etc.
