    According to Article 9 of the Measures for Accreditation of Institutions / Organizations Offering Professional Training to Real Estate Salespersons, approved organizations and groups shall post the training category, course start date, course schedule, test date, and venue information on the website designated by the central competent authority and report for inspection two weeks before the start of each session or test. Prior to the start of each course, such organizations and groups shall publish the roster of trainees, and the training hours or test results of the trainees shall be posted within one week after each course or test is completed.

  • In the professional training courses for real estate salespersons, what should be done if the trainees are late or leave early?

    According to Article 10 of the Measures for Accreditation of Institutions / Organizations Offering Professional Training to Real Estate Salespersons, during the courses, trainees shall check in and check out for each course. Those who are late and leave early for more than 10 minutes will not be counted in list of attendees.

  • What are the rules and regulations regarding the collection of fees and the number of participants for the professional trainings for real estate brokers and real estate salespersons hosted by relevant institutions and organizations?

    According to Article 8 of the Measures for Accreditation of Institutions / Organizations Offering Professional Training to Real Estate Brokers, the relevant institutions and organizations that offer the professional trainings may collect charges from the trainees to cover the actual costs of the brochures, the printed teaching materials, the rent for the teaching venues, the hour fees for professors, and administrative affairs, etc. However, the hourly charges shall not exceed NT$200. Meanwhile, the number of participants in each class must not exceed 60.

    According to Article 8, Paragraph 1 of the Measures for Accreditation of Institutions / Organizations Offering Professional Training to Real Estate Salespersons, the relevant institutions and organizations that offer the professional training may charge fees from the trainees to cover the actual costs of the brochures, the printed teaching materials, the rent for the teaching venues, the hour fees for professors, tests and exams, and administrative affairs, etc. However, the hourly charge shall not exceed NT$200 per trainee. Furthermore, according to Article 8, Paragraph 2 of the Measures for Accreditation of Institutions / Organizations Offering Professional Training to Real Estate Salespersons, the number of participants in each class must not exceed 60. However, the number of people participating in the tests/exams for each period shall not be limited.

  • What courses are included in the professional training to acquire qualifications as an Assistant Real Estate Broker?

    According to Article 7 of the Regulations Governing the Recognition of Organizations offering Professional Training for Assistant Real Estate Brokers, the professional training to acquire qualifications as an Assistant Real Estate Broker shall include the following courses: 1. Basic laws and regulations on real estate: including the Civil Code, Land Act, Land Tax Act, Deed Tax Act and House Tax Act. 2. Relevant laws and regulations on real estate brokerage: including the Real Estate Broking Management Act and its Enforcement Rules, Fair Trade Act, Consumer Protection Act and Condominium Administration Act Building Administration Division. 3. Models of various types of real estate contracts set by the central competent authority, as well as things that must and mustn’t be recorded in relevant contracts.

  • How long is the validation period for organizations hosting professional training for assistant real estate brokers?

    The recognition period for organizations hosting professional training for assistant real estate brokers is 3 years. The recognition shall be re-applied for upon expiration.

  • What documents do real estate agents and institutions and groups holding professional training for real estate brokers and assistant real estate brokers need to prepare when they apply to the central competent authority for approval?

    According to Article 3 of Methods for Approval of Institutions and Groups Holding Professional Training for Real Estate brokers, and Article 4 of Methods for Approval of Institutions and Groups Holding Professional Training for Assistant Real Estate Brokers, the following documents shall be submitted to the central competent authority for review and approval. 1. Application. 2. The photocopies of the qualification document of the legal person or the registration certificate of the people's organization. 3. The photocopies of the organization’s articles of association and the representative's identity document. 4. Implementation plan of the professional trainings. Whereas, in addition to documents to be attached according to the preceding paragraphs, the national and regional associations of real estate brokers, or the national and regional real estate marketing agency associations, or other non-profit institutions or groups related to real estate brokerage which have been registered or established for over 3 years shall also submit the photocopies of the proof documents showing their conformance to the training quality criteria governed by the Ministry of Labor.

  • Which institutions and organizations can apply for accreditation of professional training for real estate brokers and salespersons?

    According to Article 2 of the Measures for Accreditation of Institutions / Organizations Offering Professional Training to Real Estate Brokers and Article 3 of the Measures for Accreditation of Institutions / Organizations Offering Professional Training to Real Estate Salespersons, the following institutions and organizations may apply to the central competent authority for accreditation of the professional training for real estate brokers and real estate salespersons: 1. Colleges or universities with departments or graduate schools that study land administration, immovable property or relevant legal relations. 2. National and local associations of real estate brokers. 3. Other non-profit institutions or organizations related to real estate brokerage which have been registered or established for 3 years. However, the institutions and organizations of Items 2 and 3 of the preceding paragraphs shall be assessed by the training quality standards set by the Ministry of Labor.
